Over the course of a lifetime, we collect photos. Some live in shoeboxes, some live on hard drives, some in the cloud, some on social media, some in scrapbooks, and a few make it into frames that hang on walls or sit on desks and tabletops. If you’re like me, they’re all over the place, and some of them keep calling me back, asking to be seen and lived again in a different way.

This site is about returning to those oft-forgotten images and recreating what time has revealed in a new light - sometimes with watercolors, sometimes with fountain pen ink, or colored pencil, or markers, scraps of fabric, collections of beads, bits of the natural world, embroidery thread… who knows?! Each photo represents a moment in time and reveals, through its own long exposure, new life and a fresh perspective.
